WädiLauf begins and ends in Wädenswil's center, situated on the left bank of Lake Zurich. This running event spans two days, featuring a 10.5 km race, a half marathon, children's races, and a walking route. Since 2017, hundreds of participants have gathered annually, establishing it as the largest running event on this side of the lake.
The traditional course ascends Stoffel, offering participants a broad panorama of Lake Zurich, before proceeding past the historic castle on the Au peninsula. Subsequently, it traces the lakeshore path through Rosenmattpark, heading back toward the finish line. The event extends beyond competition, attracting school classes, families, walkers, and non-runners with performances, food vendors, children's entertainment, and a market surrounding the races.
