The t.a.t. supersprint triathlon is the supersprint race at Triathlon Kraśnik, located at Zalew Kraśnicki in eastern Poland’s Lublin Voivodeship. It is a short triathlon: 300 meters swimming, 10 km cycling, and a 2 km run. The race is organized by Strefa Triathlonu, with the start, finish, race office, and first leg all centered around the reservoir. It is designed for fast racing and accessible triathlon, with the organizer also using it to promote Kraśnik and triathlon in Poland.
The swim is one loop in Zalew Kraśnicki, starting from the shoreline in a standing position, with an expected water temperature of 18-22 C and a 30-minute swim limit. The bike leg is one 10 km asphalt loop on roads closed to traffic and guarded at critical points by police, firefighters, and volunteers, but riders are warned to stay alert because most of the route uses two-way race traffic and passes small access roads and nearby properties. Drafting is allowed, helmets are mandatory, and time trial bikes, electric bikes, aero cockpits, phones, and music players are banned during the race.
