Beh v Raji begins at Dobšinská Ice Cave in the Slovak Paradise area, with the prologue focusing entirely on this landmark. The prologue is a 1 km uphill dash from the parking lot to the cave, utilizing a forest trail instead of the asphalt used by longer races. This event, in its ninth running, is rooted in road racing, but this opener is short, steep, and more direct than a typical city 5K.
The broader race program offers runners multiple options within the same area. The half marathon commences at the ice cave, proceeds through Stratená and Stratenská Píla, and continues on asphalt to a turnaround approximately 500 meters past the Havrania Skala turnoff. The 10 km is a flat course along the main road towards Stratená, passing through Stratenský Canyon, and returning. The 5 km follows the same direction with a halfway turnaround, and Nordic walkers have a dedicated flat 5 km route towards Stratená.
