Beh čáčovským chotárom

Beh čáčovským chotárom is a running event in Čáčov, part of Senica in Slovakia. It takes place in late spring and is part of the Moravian-Slovak Running Cup, attracting participants beyond the local area. Adults can select from two road-race distances, 10.7 km and 6.6 km. The children’s program is notably extensive for a small local race. The event offers children fifteen distinct categories, with courses ranging from 60 meters for the youngest participants to 2 km for older students. Adult fields have featured runners from Slovakia and Czech clubs. Matěj Hřebačka of AK Hodonín won the longer race, setting a new course record by over a minute. Local participation is also significant, with Milan Oríšek and Monika Holičová being the fastest Čáčov runners. Oríšek also improved his personal best by over six minutes. One past edition experienced some rain at the start and a risk of storms, which may have deterred some participants, yet the organizers recorded eighty adult finishers and over one hundred children.
